Harry Catrakilis CPA, Partner

Harry has 22 years of experience in the practice of public accountancy, corporate financial management and investment banking. His experience with U.S. and foreign entities in the corporate world provides a unique insight as he assists entities and their owners to obtain useful information and respond to both internal and external accounting issues, tax compliance and tax planning. Harry spends a significant amount of time with clients in profit enhancement analysis and has been involved in turnaround engagements as well as merger and acquisition engagements.

Harry is a 1984 graduate of Ohio University with a BBA Degree in Accounting and Management. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Commerce from the Witwatersrand University (S.A.) in 1986. The title of his thesis was, "Does the quality of an annual report affect investment decisions?"

Harry is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of CPAs.

Harry is married to Elene and has two children.

 
 

Robert Brown, CPA, Tax Department Head
  
Robert has been in public accounting since 2002, and his primary focus is small and medium-sized businesses. He has experience in accounting system set up and conversions from small to medium accounting packages; He has unique compliance expertise in the establishment of standard operating procedures in the form of systems development and accounting manuals for in-house accountants to ensure that their reporting structure is in line with the activities of their business. He regularly offers clients assistance in the placement, training and periodic management of their in-house accounting to ensure successful completion of daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals.

Robert received his BBA in Accounting from the University of West Georgia. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants and is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Robert is a Georgia native. He is married to Chu and is the proud father of Josh.

 

   
H. Ronald Phillips, EA, Quality and Technical Manager

Ron, an Enrolled Agent, has a background of over 39 years of private and public sector accounting and taxation experience. He was the Chief Financial Officer of a mid-sized manufacturing firm for over 16 years. As an Enrolled Agent, Ron’s area of specialty is taxation. An Enrolled Agent is an individual designation provided by the Internal Revenue Service, and it is one of the few designations that signify a concentration of expertise in the field of taxation. His combined area of experience in taxation, accounting and auditing gives him the ability to effectively work and communicate with clients in all aspects of business.

Ron attended Dekalb College and Georgia State University.

Ron is married to Helen. They have two children, Scott and Lacey, and are the proud grandparents of Nate.

Anna Hrabova, Audit Division Supervisor

Anna has two years of accounting experience, including  chart of accounts setup, daily input and bank reconciliations. She is a member of the audit engagement team and has experience with U.S. and Georgia tax returns for high net worth individuals and corporations. She handles multinational finance, manufacturing and telecommunications IT companies. She manages the HR and payroll functions for select clients. She has extensive experience in liaising with overseas companies in ensuring their U.S. operations and accounting are timely performed.

Anna has managed accounting for U.S. operations of overseas companies based in Italy, Australia, South Africa and France.

Anna received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Georgia State University and is currently a candidate for Master of Business Administration in Accounting.

Anna is married. She was born in the Ukraine and now resides in Atlanta. Anna is fluent in English and Russian.
